A talk by Ming Wang, MD, PhD, Harvard & MIT (MD, magna cum laude); PhD (laser physics), Director of Wang Vision 3D Cataract & LASIK Center, Wang Foundation for Sight Restoration, Wang Foundation for Christian Outreach to China.

The movie “God’s not dead” featured a character inspired by the real life story of Dr. Ming Wang, a Harvard and MIT graduate (MD, magna cum laude) and one of the few cataract and LASIK surgeons in the world today who holds a doctorate degree in laser physics. Dr. Wang will present a talk entitled "From darkness to sight: the story behind the movie “God’s not dead”, faith and science: friends or foes?”

This is a story of one man’s inspirational journey, of turning fear, poverty, persecution and prejudice into healing and love for others. It demonstrates how focus, determination, humility and profound faith can inspire a life that, in turn, impacts that of countless others.
